Van Der Meer's fourth annual junior tournament is scheduled to begin on Friday, September 17. Last year's tournament attracted over 175 players from South Carolina and surrounding states. This year's tournament promises to be an even greater success as it has made a South Carolina State Championship and Southern L-4. Both Van Der Meer locations and 3 satellite sites will be used, as we expect well over 200 participants between the ages of 10—18. Events over the course of the weekend will include a catered lunch on Saturday, a player party and pro doubles exhibition on Saturday evening, and tournament finals with awards presentation on Sunday.
