MEET DENNIS & PAT
Legendary coach and “Teacher of teachers,” Dennis was the founder and president of the Van Der Meer TennisUniversity and the Professional Tennis Registry (PTR). Known worldwide for his innovative teaching techniques, he received numerous awards for teaching and coaching, including being named “Olympic Developmental Coach of the Year” in 1997. He has been inducted into many Halls of Fame, and is currently on the ballot for the International Hall of Fame in Newport. Dennis received an award from the ITF for his contributions to the game, and was awarded an honorary doctorate from the University of Greenwich, England for his huge contributions to the Sports Sciences in tennis.
